EARLY BIRD HUNTER                                                              Division 1
Open to all horses, ponies and riders.  Multiple trips are permitted and riders may be changed  between trips.  Each entry will be allowed 2 1/2 minutes alone in the ring to school over a set course of jumps from 2' to 3'3” maximum.  Riders will be notified when their allotted time has expired and if they remain in the ring, will be charged an additional $20 for the next time period. Please obey the in-gate person at all times. Heights set for the following classes.  Closes promptly at 8:30am.

SCHOOLING NON-PRO HUNTER                                                Division 4
Open to all horses and ponies that are ridden by a junior or amateur.  Over Fences 3' maximum.

Open to Junior “C” riders riding ponies or horses.  Riders may not compete in any other classes or division at the same show with the exception of “C” Equitation on the flat.  Riders may not show in any other classes that requires them to jump. Riders must enter and show in at least one over fences class in the division to be eligible to compete in the Under Saddle class.  Horses or ponies may show in other classes with a different rider.

LONG STIRRUP                                                                     
Open to riders riding horses who have reached 19 years of age as of January 1st.  Riders may not compete in any other classes or division at the same show with the exception of  Equitation on the flat.  Riders may not show in any other classes that requires them to jump. Riders must enter and show in at least one over fences class in the division to be eligible to compete in the Under Saddle class.  Horses or ponies may show in other classes with a different rider.  Fences 2'3"

BEGINNER RIDER HUNTER DIVISIONS:  Open to Riders who have never won more than 3 first place ribbons over fences at any EC National or USAE recognized competition in their lifetime.  This qualification does not include ribbons won in Short Stirrup Division, Schooling Non-Pro or at Trillium Shows. Rider may spend one year in the Beginner Rider Division even if they win 3 first place ribbons within the first year.  If the rider has not won 3 first place ribbons by the end of their first year they may continue to compete in the Beginner Rider Division until they win 3 first place ribbons at which time they must move out of the Beginner Rider Division at the next show. Jogging is required.  Showing in this division will affect Baby Green Status. Fences up to 2’6”

MODIFIED RIDER HUNTER DIVISIONS: Open to Riders who have not won more than 6 lifetime first place ribbons at Modified or above level at an EC recognized competition.  This does not include ribbons won in Short Stirrup Division, Beginner Rider Hunter Division or Trillium Shows. The rider may spend one year in the Modified Rider Division regardless of the number of first place ribbons won within the first year.  If, at the end of year one, the rider has not won 6 first place ribbons over fences in any class at any EC recognized competition they are not eligible to continue in  the Modified division.  If the rider has not won 6 first place ribbons at the end of their first year they may continue to compete in the Modified Rider Division until they do win 6 first place ribbons at which time they must move out of the Modified Rider Division.  Fences up to 2’9”  Please be advised that there is no “Grace Period” in which anyone can re-instate their qualifications for any reason whatsoever.
